Yellow markers indicate Contraband items.

Contraband items in your inventory are easy to distinguish as they are labeled with yellow, and stolen items are labeled with red.

What Happens If You Get Caught With Contraband

Contraband Will Be Confiscated And You Will Be Arrested

If you get caught with Contraband, the items will be confiscated. You will have the following options:

"I'll pay the fine" - Recommended!

Choosing to pay the fine will result in the loss of credits earned from Contraband or stolen items. However, it will allow you to leave immediately without leaving a record.

"Don't worry, I'll go quietly." → Serve A Prison Sentence

To serve your jail sentence, you will lose a few in-game days and XP, equal to the credits earned from Contraband or stolen items.

"You won't take me alive." → Fight/Escape

It is not advisable to attempt to fight the securities, as it is doubtful that you will win. Even if you win and escape successfully, there will be a bounty on your head.
