How To Start Playing
Make A Primitive Workbench
Make A Primitive Workbench

First, collect wood by picking up fallen branches or by punching trees. With two pieces of wood, you can create a Primitive Workbench that you can use to make various tools.

- Wood × 5

Create a Pickaxe and Axe with the Workbench. The Pickaxe can efficiently collect stones when you hit rocks. Similarly, the Axe can be used to hit trees and easily collect wood.

Create And Install A Palbox

- Wood × 8
- Stone × 3

Create a Palbox and place them on the field to create a base. The area highlighted in circle around the Palbox becomes the player's base, so try to set it up in an open space as much as possible.

Palboxes can be unlocked when the player reaches level 2 or higher. Open the [Technology] in the menu and use points to unlock it.

Enhance The Base

Once the Palbox is installed and the base is established, set up the minimum necessary facilities.

If you build a wooden chest and a workbench in the base, you can use the deposited items as materials without having to withdraw them. Since it gets very dark and cold at night, it makes exploring during this time difficult especially in early game. Create a bed in order to sleep and advance time to morning.

Raise Plaver Lvl To 9

The Logging Site and Stone Pit can be unlocked at player Lv 7. It can automatically generate Wood and Stone which can then be used for materials. Additionally, at Lv 9, the Hot Spring used to recover Pal's SAN value and clothing with heat/cold resistance can be unlocked.

Upgrade Your Base

Upgrading the base increases the number of Pals that can work on the base, improving work efficiency. The number of bases that can be established increases when the base reaches a certain level.

Automate The Work On The Base

Ideally, the base should become automated when it comes to production with the work of Pals. Place a facility that can produce materials and a Pal with the necessary work suitability for this.

Character Are Created Per Server

Character Are Created Per Server

Palworld requires players to create a character for each server. Even if you have a save you have advanced, if you want to play on a new server, you will have to create a character from scratch and play from the beginning.

Solo Play (Offline) Guide

Increasing Weight Stat Is Recommended In Early Game

Increasing Weight Stat Is Recommended In Early Game

It is recommended that the stat to raise in early game is Weight because it increases the amount of items the player can carry. Although there is a disadvantage of slowing down movement if it is raised too high, it should be increased in early game to make exploring easier.

Best Stats To Upgrade First

Lower Performance When Hungry

Lower Performance When Hungry

Players and Pals become hungry when they are active, which can result in hunger, movement reduction, and other disadvantages. If you continue to go hungry, starvation will cause damage to your character. Eat regularly and avoid hunger by eating berries and other food found in the field.

Hunger And Food

HP Gradually Recovers When You Are Full

HP is gradually recovered when your character is full. If your HP is depleted in battle, leave the area and wait for recovery while searching for a safe place.

How To Recover HP

Prevent Being Cold By Being Near Fire/Wearing Warm Clothing

Prevent Being Cold

At night, the temperature drops making it very cold. HP is gradually reduced during lower temperature, so making use of countermeasures are essential when working or exploring at night. Stay near fire such as bonfires, torches, or Fire element Pals. You can also wear cold-resistant equipment like the Tundra Outfit, which becomes available at Level 9.

Wide, Flat Areas Are Recommended For Bases

Wide and Flat Areas

When building a base, choose a location that is as large as possible. Place a Palbox in the center of the open area and the area around the Palbox will become your base. A flat area is preferred since a flat area is needed for facilities to be set up.

Best Base Locations

Being Surrounded By Resources Is Also Important

If there are rocks, trees, or other resources around the base, Pals working at the base will procure them for you. Therefore, look for areas with abundant resources for your base.

Pals Have Work Suitability

Pals Have Work Suitability

Pals have Work Suitability which means that they work in different ways depending on their suitability when captured and where they are assigned to work at a base. Therefore, it is important to place Pals at the base in a well-balanced manner with a variety of suitability, such as Watering, Lumbering, and Mining.
