How to Use Alarm Bell
You Can Switch Between Base Pals Attacking Invaders Or Focusing On Work

Constructing the Alarm Bell enables you to switch Pal priorities when activated. Choosing 'Intercept Outside Invaders' prompts Pals to attack those approaching the base, whether they are hostile Pals or humans. Selecting 'Focus on Work' allows Pals to continue working at their designated locations even if enemies arrive.
Does Not Have Much Of An Advantage
The Alarm Bell doesn't help defending your base and you don't really need to build it because Pals automatically defend the base against enemy invaders. Also, if Pal priorities are set to focus on work, they can't fight back when attacked, making it a big downside. So, it's not necessary to build it since it often just makes things more difficult.
