How to Use Mounted Torch

Illuminate The Surroundings

When you construct a Mounted Torch, you can brighten the area in dark places. Building it at your base makes it easier to navigate during the night.

Brighten Up The Inside Of The Cave

Since Mounted Torches can also be constructed outside the base, you can build them in places like caves to illuminate the surroundings. However, be cautious as structures outside the base degrade over time. They can serve as a temporary solution when you don't have a Hip Lantern or Hand-held Torch.

Manually Ignite Or With A Pal With Kindling Trait

Once you construct a Mounted Torch, it activates when you or a Pal with the Kindling attribute ignites it. Since the fire goes out after a certain amount of time, it is necessary to ignite it regularly.

Rest During The Night And Wait Until Morning

Leaving a Mounted Torch can be a cause for concern, as Pals with the Kindling attribute might be attracted to it, resulting in them getting stuck and unable to move. If it's too dark to work, it is generally recommended to rest and wait until morning. Only build Mounted Torch at the base if you can't skip time till morning in Multiplayer.
