How to Use Wall Torch

Brighten The Surroundings

By installing a Wall Torch, you can brighten up the surroundings in dark areas. It can only be placed on the walls of buildings, making it a fundamental choice for illuminating your base.

It Is Not Recommended To Use Outside The Base

While Wall Torches can be constructed outside the base, they must be built on walls, requiring the construction of both the Ground and walls. Since their usability is limited outside the base, it's recommended to carry a Hip Lantern or Hand-held Torch.

Ignite It Either Manually Or With A Pal With Kindling Suitability

After constructing the Wall Torch, it will activate when either ignited manually or by a Pal with the Kindling suitability. The fire will go out after a certain period, so it's necessary to ignite it regularly.

Rest During The Night And Wait Until Morning

Leaving a Mounted Torch can be a cause for concern, as Pals with the Kindling attribute might be attracted to it, resulting in them getting stuck and unable to move. If it's too dark out to work, it is generally recommended to rest and wait until morning. Only build Mounted Torch at the base if you can't skip time till morning in Multiplayer.
