Savage Hunger Increases Its Attack Power
The Savage Deviljho is powered by its perpetual hunger and if left to feed, will deal enormous amounts of physical damage that can easily bring down any Hunter.
Preparing For Savage Deviljho
Bring Traps, Flashpods & Dung Pods
It's important to keep the Savage Deviljho away from its prey so make sure to bring traps, Flashpods, or Dungpods to keep it immobile or to chase any large monster away from its peripherals.
Bring Nulberries & Adamant Seeds
The Savage Deviljho is able to inflict Dragonblight & Defense Down so make sure to bring items such as Nulberries & Adamant Seeds to instantly remove these debuffs.
Aim For Savage Deviljho's Head
The Savage Deviljho's head is a weak spot so hitting it there can do incredible damage and/or stun it if you have the right skills equipped.
Keep Savage Deviljho From Eating
Aside from dealing damage to its body, it's important to stop the Savage Deviljho from hunting other monsters or eating. This will keep its raw attack power to a minimum so that its hits won't hurt as bad.

|Dragon Breath||Spews a Dragon elemental breath that can inflict Dragonblight. Stays in the field for a few seconds.|
|Jump Attack||Jumps towards you to attack you. Dodge out of the way to keep safe.|
|Tail Spin||Spins twice, using its tail to hit you. Has a wide hit box so roll backwards when it does this move.|

Dragon Breath Lingers In The Field
The Savage Deviljho's dragon breath will linger in the field for a few seconds which can inflict Dragonblight if touched. Make sure to move out of the way when it does its dragon breath attacks.
Do Not Sling on while Dragon Breath is Still Active
It's very risky to sling on and attach to Savage Deviljho while there's an active dragon breath field around. He could easily move towards there and you won't be able to do anything but lose health.
Vulnerable To Status Effects
The Savage Deviljho is vulnerable to different status effects so make full use of these. Bring Sleep or Paralysis Knives, Flash Pods, and traps to keep it still long enough for you to deal enough damage.
