Melee weapons each have a special gauge which allows them to deal more damage to monsters. Remember to fill up your weapon's gauges in order to deal more damage! You can also use items like the Demondrug to deal much more damage!

Remember to Dodge & Block Attacks

Getting close to deal damage to the monster will put you in the monster's range. Remember to dodge away when a monster winds up for an attack to avoid getting damaged! Alternatively, some melee weapons will also allow you to block incoming attacks!

Bring Recovery Items to Heal Up

Pay Attention to Weapon Sharpness
