Check Your Items

The new environment in Iceborne brings about new challenges and a new harsh weather to contend with. Bring Hot Drinks to ward off the cold and be sure to set them as part of your usual Loadout.

Make Hot Drinks With Hot Pepper

Hot Drinks can be made from Hot Peppers gathered in the field. Take note as they grow just outside the first camp in Hoarfrost Reach.

Change Your Equipment

Raise Defense With New Equipment

The Master Class monicker comes with added difficulty so best suit up for your newer adventures with stronger and better armor. MR★2 quests have monsters that can hit and damage like Elder Dragons. Ditch maxed skill builds for a while and prioritize Defense first.

Think Of Skills Even With Mismatched Sets

While it is recommended to prioritize builds that further enhance your Defense and your survivability, opt to choose ones that can give you a slight advantage with their skills. Skills like Earplugs and HP Boost add a defensive edge in combat. As Decorations can provide a bit of offensive power, best prioritize armor that can raise your Defense.
