What To Do In Your Room
Room Upgrades
Your Room - What's New?
The Ver. 11.00 update brings new ways to decorate and customize Your Room in Seliana. With this update, you can now change the styles and color of the walls, tables, etc. and invite other players to relax and check out Your Room.
Invite Other Players To Your Room
Players will now be able to make their Rooms public and invite other players to come in to relax and play. This feature only works for Your Room in Seliana.
Display Loadouts & Figures
The update also brings with it two new interactable decors: the Equipment Display and Monster Figures. You can display your favorite loadout with the equipment display, and you can interact with the Monster Figure to get a very detailed look.
Listen To Music With The Music Player
You can now listen to a selection of Monster Hunter World & Iceborne BGMs while relaxing or decorating your room. To do this, you can use the Music Player located at the right side of the stairs, or you can talk to the Housekeeper.
How To Customize & Unlock Decor
Talk To The Housekeeper To Customize Your Room
Speak to the Shopkeeper and select "Room Customization" to open up various options for your to decorate and personalize Your Room. The Housekeeper can be found in Your Room.
Interact With The Decor To Customize Them Further
You can approach and interact with some items present in Your Room to change their style or appearance.
How To Unlock Decor
1 | Go to Your Room and talk to the Housekeeper |

2 | Select Room Customization and select the category you want to customize |
3 | Hover over the icons with a yellow lock on them |
4 | Pay the required Research Points to unlock |
5 | You will then be prompted to display the decor you have just bought |
Unlock By Paying With Research Points
You can unlock new decors and furniture for Your Room by talking to your Housekeeper and buying them with Research Points.
How To Invite Other Players To Your Room
Setting Your Room's Public Setting
You can set your Room's Public Setting by talking to the Housekeeper or by fiddling with the settingds in the Communications section in the Start Menu.
Room Status Differences
Public | Everyone in the same Online Session can access your room |
---|---|
Public + Passcode | Only players who know the passcode can enter the room |
Private | No one can enter Your Room |
Go To Other Players' Room Using The World Map
You can use the World Map to select Seliana, then choose the option to go to other players' Rooms.
About Your Room
Customize Your Room in Astera
In Monster Hunter World, you'll be given a room where you can access your Item Box, change your equipment, access the Training Room & place endemic life as your pets.
How To Go Into Your Room
You can access your room by going into the small door near the Commander in Astera. When you've upgraded into your bigger room, you'll be able to access your room from the base of the stairs near the Tradeyard.
What To Do In Your Room
Keep Endemic Life As Pets
You can place the endemic life you've captured in the field in your room. The number and types of pets you can keep change on the size and type of your room.
Access The Training Area
You can talk to the Palico in your room to also access the Training Room. This is the only way to get access to the Training Room.

Your room will also have an Item Box that you can access and here you can also changed your Layered Armor. This changes the way your Hunter looks without changing your equipment.

When you progress further into the story, you'll be able to move into bigger and better rooms. You'll be able to put more endemic life as pets when you do.
