Practice Swinging From Vines
You can practice your Hunter's swinging skills by using the vines at the Northeastern side of the training area. Climb up the cliff and jump off the ledge to start swinging on those vines!
Access Via the Housekeeper
You will be able to access the Training Area by talking to your Housekeeper. They are located next to the item box. Alternatively, you can also leave by heading to the training area's entrance.
Things to Do in the Iceborne Beta
Practice Using the Clutch Claw
The Clutch Claw is a new item that you can use to increase your mobility and zip around the map. You will be able to use the clutch claw in the training area during Iceborne's beta test.
Try Out Weapon's New Moves
Each weapon will also have a new move added to their move list. You will be able to try these out when you visit the training area during the Iceborne beta test.
Replace Objects
Talking to the Housekeeper in the Training Area will allow you to change up the objects in the training area to suit your needs. You can even add a wagon to act like a large monster to practice your Clutch Claw use!
Practicing Using Different Weapons
Check Damage By Attacking the Large Pillar
The damage done by your weapon will be displayed in numbers when attacking objects. Use the large pillar at the far end of the training area to check the damages of your attacks when all of your attacks hit.
Practice Using Your Slinger
The dark barrel in the middle of the map will explode when it is damaged. You can use this barrel to practice your aim with the slinger. Note that you can equip any slinger ammo, but can only have one type of ammo equipped at a time.
Change Equipment at the Item Box
The Item Box next to the Housekeeper will also allow you to change up your equipment, allowing for you to swap out weapons and armor without needing to leave the training area.
