MR Version of the Mother Goddess of Gold
Quest | The Eternal Gold Rush (MR Event Quest) |
---|---|
Req. MR | MR 24 or higher |
Time Limit | 50 minutes |
The golden-clad monster Kulve Taroth has returned to Monster Hunter World as a master rank version of itself. She's stronger & deadlier than ever with new moves to boost in her Master Rank quest.
Not a Siege Quest
The Master Rank Kulve Taroth Quest is not a siege anymore, but a traditional 4-man fight against the monster. This means there's no more reward levels. It can be found in the Event Quests tab.
Slay The Kulve Taroth
Unlike previous encounter, you will eventually need to slay the Kulve Taroth itself in this Master Rank encounter.
Skips First Area Pursuit
In the Master Rank quest, the first area pursuit is completely skipped. It starts immediately in the 2nd area where first fight against an aggressive Kulve Taroth!
Health Scales to Number of Players
The more players you have on your team, the higher Kulve Taroth's health will be. It's entirely possible to solo Master Rank Kulve Taroth thanks to this scaling unlike its HR counterpart that is automatically set to 4 players.
MR Kulve Taroth - How to Beat
Same Mechanics as Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth
The MR Kulve Taroth quest is basically the same as its Arch-Tempered raid where you'll fight Kulve Taroth across multiple areas. However, this time, it immediatly begins in the 2nd stage & you'll finally be able to defeat and carve it for materials.
3 Areas to Pass Through
Deal enough damage to Kulve Taroth to make it retreat to a lower part of its base. Get to the 3rd area and slay it to complete the quest!
MR Kulve Taroth - First Area
Flinch Shot Kulve Taroth to Walls
Kulve Taroth doesn't go down when it is flinched shot, but it will receive a great deal of damage when it connects to a wall. You can use your Temporal Mantle to attach to Kulve Taroth without being shaken off.
Wound Kulve Taroth to Create Weak Spots
When Kulve Taroth is not in its Molten State, you can wound it in its various body parts to create weak spots. This is recommended to increase the damage and get Critical Damage..
Do Not Mount Kulve Taroth Here
Although you can build up your mount in this section, it's not recommended to do it this early in the raid. Save the mounts for the 3rd Part where bringing down Kulve Taroth is essential.
MR Kulve Taroth - Second Area
Use Boulders Against Kulve Taroth
Bait Kulve Taroth to stand under boulders and use a slinger/bullet to bring it down. This is a huge burst of damage to help you reach the required damage for the area.
MR Kulve Taroth - Final Area
Sleep, Paralyze if Possible
Since this is the final push and all focus needs to be on the horns, paralyzing or sleeping Kulve Taroth is great here.
