Viper Tobi Kadachi Overview

New Subspecies Of Tobi-Kadachi In Iceborne

A new subspecies of the Tobi-Kadachi called the Viper Tobi-Kadachi is a new monster in Iceborne. It is characterized by its venomous looking tail with poisonous barbs.

Found In Hoarfrost Reach

The Viper Tobi-Kadachi can mainly be found in the snowy areas of Hoarfrost Reach. You will also need the Iceborne expansion in order to encounter this monster!

Preparing For Viper Tobi-Kadachi

Bring Poison Resistant Gear Or Antidotes

Make sure to equip yourself with a Poison Resistant loadout or bring a lot of Antidotes with you. The Viper Tobi-Kadachi has very potent poison attacks that will eat away at your HP.

Has A Weakness To Thunder

The Viper Tobi-Kadachi has a weakness to the Thunder element. Make sure to bring a weapon with a high thunder damage output as it can help you out with the hunt of the monster.

Aim For Head & Tail To Lessen Debuffs

Break Head To Lower Paralysis Damage

When fightin the Viper Tobi-Kadachi, aim to break both its head and tail. This will lessen the chances of the monster implementing the Poison & Paralysis status debuffs if you're hit by these body parts.

Keep Distance & Mind The Tail

The Viper Tobi-Kadachi will employ its tail to deal most of its attacks at you, either swinging it at you or flinging poisonous barbs your way. Watch the tail and focus fire on it when the monster is not using it.

Dodge Backwards To Avoid Tail Attacks

Aim For the Tail To Weaken Poison Damage

When the Viper Tobi-Kadachi swipes its tail at you, dodge backwards to avoid getting hit or poisoned. Though when it does its Backflip Tail Slam, it's better to dodge sideways.

Be Careful of it's Paralysis

Although Viper Tobi-Kadachi is mainly poison now, attacks from its mouth can still build up paralysis. With it's frontal attacks, it's best to dodge sideways.

Take Advantage of Turf Wars
