The Dracolite you receive as part of your rewards in the Safi'jiiva siege quest will be used as upgrade materials for your Awakened Weapons, giving them "Awakened Abilities".

Using the Dracolite will not guarantee a specific ability or skill. These will be random and you can choose from a selection that pops up when you upgrade the weapon.
Store Potential If Abilities Are Not Ideal
You can store your weapon's potential and draw better abilities or skills the next time you upgrade your Awakened Weapon. This is ideal if the ability or skill pool you drew is not good for your weapon.
Have Up To 5 Skills Per Weapon
You're allowed to upgrade your Awakened Weapon an infinite number of times, provided you have available Dracolite, but you can only have 5 abilities or skills equipped.
