What to do when you can't update
Make sure you are connected to the Internet
If you are not connected to the Internet, you will not be able to update the software. Check to make sure that the Internet connection is not turned off by mistake or in Airplane mode.
Check to see if there are any problems
If you are unable to update, it is possible that The Nintendo eShop server is down or an error has occurred. Check the official Twitter and official website for announcements.
It doesn't always come right on time
Even if the update time is announced as 10:00, it does not mean that the update will come at exactly 10:00. Depending on server congestion and your location, several minutes to several tens of minutes, you may need to wait a little longer and try again.
You could try rebooting.
If the software does not update, it is useful to restart Switch's once. Press and hold the power button and select "Power Options" to restart.
