Relic Records are collectible items in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise). This guide includes all Relic Records (Old Message) locations across maps, where to find them, & rewards!!
The first note is in the summit of the mountain to the south of Area 6. You will need to use your wirebugs twice in ordeer to get to the location.
Shrine Ruins Relic Record Location 2
1. Head Up Area 6's River
2. Climb The Cliff With The Tree
3. Hiding In The Shadow Of The Cliff
Head up the river to the north of Area 6 then climb up the cliff where there is a tree growing. The Relic Record is found in the shadow of the cliff.

1. Climb The Cliff East Of Area 12
2. Found Front Of Rock Shrine
The Third Relic Record can be found in front of a Rock Shrine at the top of a cliff. The Cliff can be found east of Area 12.

2. Head To The Back
Climb the cliff found in Area 11 where you can find the wooden gate. The Relic Record is to the back of the gate.

1. Use Wirebug To Transport
2. Climb Cliff With Broken Ladder
3. Head West Of The Cliff
4. Cross The Bridge
Use the Wirebug to transport yourself to the next area. Upon landing, climb the cliff with the broken ladder. Follow the road and cross the bridge to find the Relic Record.
Shrine Ruins Relic Record Location 6
1. Climb The Cliff
2. Head Further
Climb the cliff to the east of the large wooden gate between areas 7 and 8. The Relic Record is to the back of the area.

4. To The Tip Of The Branch
Climb the rock to the west of Area 1 and follow the road. Climb a large tree trunk at the edge of the cliff and proceed to the right. You can fall off here so be careful.

3. Go Inside The Cave To The Left
4. Go Further In
Same route as the first location. When you get to the location, use the wirebug to get up there. The entrance to the cave is slightly hard to find unless you're looking for it.

1. Enter The Gated Area
2. Found In The Grass
Enter the gate north of Area 7 then turn left. Go forward and you will find the Relic Record in the grass.

Climb the cliff south of Area 5. Head up a bit and you will find the Relic Record.
Relic Records (Old Messages) - Frost Islands Location
Climb the island where the Shrine is located. This close to the center of the map. Get the note in front of the shrine.

The Second Relic Record can be found while climbing a large tree. You can do this using your Wirebugs. It's a bit narrow so be careful or else you might fall down.

There is a cave around the location of the 1st Relic Record. Use your wirebug to gain access to it. The Relic Record can be found inside.

You can find the fourth Relic Record inside the cave. Head all the way inside to find the Relic Record.

2. Destroy The Snowman With A Bomb

In Area 5, climb the northern island. There you will find a big Snowman. Destroy it with a bomb to get to the Note inside of it.
Requires Bomb To Destroy The Snowman
The only way you can get to the Relic Record inside the Snow is by destroying it with a bomb. This also applies to the Gunlance which you can use to stick a bomb there!

Take a big boar in Area 8. Use your wirebug to get to the hut on the ship. Climb the pillar and you will find the Relic Record.

Enter a small cave between Areas 12 & 11. The road is easy to find and can easily be found by following the map.

This location is hard to reach without practice. Make sure to have 3 wirebugs here to be able to make the jump.

You can reach the 10th Relic Record by climbing the empty ceiling of Area 12. Same with the 9th Relic Record, it's best to have 3 Wirebug charges here.

Relic Records (Old Messages) - Sandy Plains Location
Ented a small opening near the camp and use the Wirebug found at its exit. Continue west and you will find it after jumping off the cliff.

Go to the fishing spot north of the campo and you will find the Relic Record if you continue going north.

It's on the large rock found north of Area 1.

You can find this in the grass that grows to the east of Area 11. There is a large tree close to it.

Before the entrance to Area 10 from Area 9, there is a road you can follow. Continue southwest from there and you will find the Relic Record.

The sixth Relic Record is located at the lower layer towards the east. It's close to the entrance of Area 4 from the northwest side. Climb the rock and you will find the cave where it is.

You can find the Relic Record on the first level of the ruins behind the Subcamp. The camp is found in the northern side of Area 2 and can be reached immediately by climbing the cliff.

2. Enter The Next Cave On The Opposite Cliff
3. It's inside the cave
Enter the west cave on the southern part of Area 4. Next, enter the cave on the opposite cliff since the Relic Record can be found there.

2. Enter The Back & Go South
The ninth note can be found to the east of the lower layer of Area 12. Upon entering the ruins, enter the small room to the south. You will find it to the far left.

In the Upper Layer of Area 12, you can find the last Relic Record. Jump from the road connecting Area 9 and Area 10. It's behind the stone wall in the center.
Relic Records (Old Messages) - Flooded Forest Location
You will find the first Relic Record in the cliff above the camp. Climb the Cliff through the south side then jump to the other side.

The Second Note is found on a tree on the upper layer of Area 4. You get up there by following the arrow instructions in the images above.

The Third Note is found inside the Pyramid! You'll need to use the side entrance to be able to access it. First, use the wirebug, then scale the side till you find the entrance.

In the grass on the rocky mountain on the north side of Area 10.

The Note is inside the small cave west of Area 14's lower layer.

The cave entrance is between Area 11 and 12. It's easy to get there by jumping from the cliff in Area 10.

The 7th Relic Record is to the north of the rocky mountain in Subcamp 1. You can easily reach if by climbing the cliff from the west side of the camp.

The 8th note is in a small room at the top of the pyramid. You can climb after using the Wirebug to get to the location. You need to break the wall using bombs here so bring one before hand!

Use the wirebug south of the camp to a small cave. From there you can find it in the horizontal hole to the west.

The Relic Record is high on the cliff north of Area 7. You'll need to do a series of sprinting and jumping to get to the location.

Relic Records (Old Messages) - Lava Caverns Location
The first Relic Record is found between the initial camp and Area 1. Climb the rock using your Wirebug and you can get to the Relic Record's location near the wall.

Head to Area 4 and you will find a Cherry Blossom tree. Climb up and among the southern branches, you will see the Relic Record.

Follow the map to Area 7. Head down the cliff and it will be on a lower ledge.

The Pillar with the Relic Record is pretty tall, requiring multiple use of Wirebugs to get to the top. You can find the Relic Record at its very center.

In Area 14, use the Wirebug to climb the wall. Have 3 Wirebug charges for it to successfully be able to climb.

The 6th Note is on top of the pillar in Area 8. Use Wirebugs to climb it.

You can find the seventh note between Area 10 and Area 12. Go to the Upper Layer of Area 12 then head down the ledge. Once you get to the Lower Layer, you will find a cave opening to the right.

The eight Relic Record is close to the location of Subcamp 2. It's very easy to find by checking the photos above!

Get to the bridge to the south of Subcamp 2. The Relic Record is under the bridge there.

Go the ruin north of Area 1. Head down and you will find the cave when the Relic Record is located. It's along the western wall!
On the North Side of Area 4, head up using both climbing and your Wirebug. Once on the roof, move Southwest then drop down to the ledge.
Relic Record Location 2
1. Climb the Ivy northwest of Area 3
2. Climb the big tree
3. Continue straight
4. Proceed To The Edge
Climb the Ivy to the right of the shrine on the northwest side of Area 3. Next, climb the large tree then move forward on the trunk. You will find the Relic Record at the tip of the branch.

The third Relic Record can be found by climbing the wall to your right, then moving along to the opposite bank.

The fourth note is on the summit of the ice mountain. You will need to use Wirebugs to get up there.

After climbing the fallen pillar, you can find the Relic Record to the Northeast clear the Area 2.

The sixth note is close to the cave on the cliff southeast of Area 7. Enter it by running up the wall.

Climb the cliff to the south of the Lower Layer of Area 11. You can find the Relic Record inside the cave there.

3. Keep Going South
After climbing the cliff right above the Main Camp, keep moving south until you get to the area where the Relic Record is.

The ninth Relic Record is in Area 3. Go west then climb down the cliff to get there.

The Final Relic Record is in Area 11. Enter the cave from the south side and get to the location of the Relic Record by using the Wirebug.
The Wooden Statues can be placed as decorations inside your room. Once you've unlocked them, you can talk to the Palico managing your room to place them.
Relic Records appear as swords stuck upright on the ground around the map. Collecting them is as easy as interacting with them once you are near one.
10 Relic Records To Collect In Each Map
There are a total of 10 Relic Records to collect around the maps. They're pretty spaced out across them so you will need to do a bit of walking and exploring to get them all.
Players will get corresponding rewards for unlocking the Relic Records. Collect them all to get a wide array of different Wood Statues that you can place inside your room.
