New Prestige System
Prestige Now Tied With Seasons

The new Prestige system arrives with the coming of the Season 1 of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. As Modern Warfare and Warzone will also be affected with this new version, players can now get Prestige by progressing their Seasonal Levels, previously known as Officer Ranks.
Prestige Rewards
Similar to past iterations, this seasonal Prestige system also brings with it rewards for players to grind for and enjoy. As it is seasonal, it is highly likely that prestige rewards will be exclusive and limited only to that season.

Reset & Replay Progression After Maxing
Prestige is a system implemented in the previous Call of Duty series which allows you to reset your rank progression after reaching the max rank. You will still be able to keep any item and reward obtained originally through your initial progression.
Not Available In COD MW & Warzone
As mentioned, the prestige function has been replaced with the Officer Rank progression, a Battle Pass like function that gets reset every Season.
