Collect Bluegleams To Craft Equipment
The "Survivor" Event Quest rewards players with the "Bluegleam" material required to craft the Shield Weaver+ Armor Set and Adept Stormslinger Light Bowgun. You may need to complete this quest multiple times in order to get the required materials to craft each one.

Quest Rewards & Craftable Weapons & Armor
Shield Weaver+ Full Armor Set
Completing the quest rewards you with materials to craft the the Shield-Weaver+. This armorhas a set skill called, "Power Cell" that increases defense and eliminates damage reaction. However, it loses its effects after taking several hits, requiring a short amount of time to reactivate.
Adept Stormslinger Light Bowgun
You also get materials to upgrade the Stormslinger Prototype to the Adept Stormslinger, a more powerful and customizable Light Bowgun.
Uses Special Ammo
It can use a special Custom Mod that allows it to fire a special ammo. Firing the special ammo continuously will cause it to overload, damaging the user.

Completing the "Survivor" Event Quest also nets you materials for your Palico's armor and weapon. You can craft both the Frostclaw α+ & Forgefire α+ with the materials gained from completing the quest.
