The MHW:ICEBORNE & Resident Evil 2 collaboration event has been confirmed! In the released trailer, the Hunter is wearing Leon & Claire's outfits while fighting with the Blackveil Vaal Hazak & Tigrex.

Update 11.50 on The Same Date
On November 7, Update 11.50 was officially released. The update size is about 500MB & it contains monster changes, weapon changes & fixes.

Defeat A Blackveil Vaal Hazak With Zombie Virus
The target monster of collaboration quest is Blackveil Vaal Hazak. There will be new abnormal status ailment called Zombie status. While in Zombie status, the motions change & you won't flinch when attacked by monster.

You can cure zombie status by using the Green Herb collected from the field. Perhaps you should prepare some Green Herb before facing the monster.

Craft Leon & Claire Armor Sets
You can get materials to craft the Leon α + and Claire α + full armor sets when you successfully complete the hunt. Collect S.T.A.R.S. Badges to be able to craft these sets.
RE2 Collaboration Event Rewards
Leon α + and Claire α + Full Armor Sets
When you complete the RE2 collaboration event quest, you can use the S.T.A.R.S. Badge you earn to craft Leon & Claire's full armor set.

RE2 Collaboration Weapon Pendants
There are 3 weapon pendants you can craft from S.T.A.R.S. Badges that you earn from the event quest. These can be attached onto your weapon to show off your completion of the hunt!

RE2 Collaboration Room Furniture
There are several items in the RE2 collaboration that you can put in your Room in Seliana. 2 items in the collaboration can be crafted by submitting S.T.A.R.S. Badges in delivery quests.

After completing the event quest, you'll be rewarded with 2 gestures that you can use in the game. Talk to your Housekeeper to receive them!
RE2 Collaboration Event DLC
Change Handler Into Mr. X
New paid DLC for the RE2 collaboration includes a skin for Handler to turn into Mr. X. This means the giant scary brute will be giving you your quests & showing up in cutscenes from now on!
Sticker Set & BGM
You can also purchase a RE2 collaboration specific sticker set and a Raccoon City soundtrack in the Playstation Store as part of the paid DLC.
