Grimalkynes are a new type of creature that have made their home in the new world. Each area will have different tribes of Grimalkynes which you can befriend and recruit as Tailraiders to help you out in hunts!

Unlock Tailraider Monsters

As you befriend more Grimalkynes, your Palico will learn how to talk to small monsters and befriend them. When this happens, those small monsters will start to follow you around and even support you during fights!

Offers Help During Hunts

Once you've befriended a Grimalkyne, you will be able to recruit them as Tailraiders to support you during hunts! Aside from helping you gather materials, they will also do their best to help you hunt down the monster you're tracking!

How to Befriend Grimalkynes

While out in the field, you may come across some strange doodles. Examining them may allow your Palico to lead you to the Grimalkynes. Your Palico will then attempt to talk to the Grimalkynes in order to befriend them!
