Petrov Oil Rig Map Layout
Features Indoor & Outdoor Areas
The Oil Rig will feature both indoor and outdoor areas. Interiors will have tight and enclosed spaces, while outdoors will have benefit players using longer ranged weapons.
Vertically Designed Map
Keep in mind that this map was designed with verticality in mind. There will be several areas which you can use to take the high ground and take out helpless enemies below!
Bridge Found At The Middle
The middle of the map will feature a bridge which is a hotspot for fights. Typically, players of opposing teams will come from either side. There will be a few obstacles on the bridge that can be used for cover.
Petrov Oil Rig Map Tips & Tricks
Consider Weapons Depending On Area
Depending on which area of the map you're going to, it would be best to equip yourself with the appropriate weapon to deal with possible enemy encounters. Use short range weapons when going inside buildings, while longer ranged weapons will help you in outer areas!

It is recommended to aim to get the high ground especially when moving around the map's exteriors. This will give you an easier time picking off enemies below. In addition, enemies will have a harder time hitting you!
Watch Out For Enemies Above
Keep in mind that enemies will also try to take the high ground. Keep an eye out for elevated structures for enemies. It is important to keep an eye out for enemies peeking from the windows.
Petrov Oil Rig - Season 5 Map Overview
New Large Map
Petrov Oil Rig is a new large map that launches alongside season 5. This map is composed of 5 different sections, each with their own unique features. These include a cargo bay, a submarine, and glaciers.
