Hardhat Map Layout
Features 3 Lanes
The Hardhat map features 3 distinct lanes, each that forces players to alter their strategy depending on the lane they choose to pass through.
Central Lane
The central area features a small room that has multiple entry / choke points that players can use to gain the upper hand. It is recommended to use weapons that excel in close combat such as SMGs and Shotguns.
Leftmost Lane
The leftmost lane is the longest lane to traverse. It features several obstacles that you will be able to use for cover. Aggressive run and gun play styles are best used in this lane. Being able to have tons of mobility and multiple ways to attack will give you the advantage.
Rightmost Lane
The rightmost lane is a straight shot from one side of the map to the other. What separates from the other lanes is the verticality it has. Players who are able to take the high ground will most likely thrive in this lane.

Geographical Tips
Get Choke Points With Smoke
With tons of choke points, chances are there's a mounted gun waiting for you at key corners. If needed, move from wall to wall or use a smoke grenade to conceal yourself!

Adjust Playstyle According to Loadouts
Generally speaking, the loadout that you choose should dictate how you approach the map. These will allow you to efficiently get kills, and at the same time keep you safe throughout the duration of the match!

Though Hard Hat is traditionally a close-quarters map, sniper rifles can still work with the various corridors and alleys, so use a Sniper or Marksman Rifles if you want. It can also be helpful to bring some recon equipment such as a Heartbeat Sensor, Thermal Optics, and even a Snapshot Grenade to mark enemies!

The fights here is going to be close & personal. Have a close to mid range weapon with you in order to take on any enemy that you encounter while moving through here. Clean house with a shotgun, or gun down an enemy with an assault rifle from building!

This map will feature tons of choke points and small spaces. Leave some traps here such as the Claymore and Proximity Mine. Due to the fast-paced nature of this map, enemies may become careless and rush through these areas, guaranteeing you some easy kills!
