Azhir Cave - Map Layout & Design
Azhir Cave Map Layout
Features Two Distinct Areas
Azhir Cave is a medium sized map which features two distinct areas: the Cave and the Village. Each of these areas has different features which will require players to change their strategy depending on where they are on the map.
Cave Is A Wide Area
The Cave is a wide area to the north of the map. Entering this area will place you along a wide path. This area will require players to increase their weapon ranges in order to deal damage to far away players.
Has Several Entrances & Exits
The Cave will also feature several entrances and exits which players can use. Keep an eye out for the sides of the caves as players may appear from them to ambush you!
Village Features Several Buildings
The Village on the other hand features several buildings which you can enter and use. These buildings are also huddled close together so there are several narrow alleyways which you can take.
Windows Can Be Entered
Other than doors, the windows of buildings can be used to enter and take out enemies that have decided to get cozy and huddle inside.
Map Available in Day & Night Time
Azhir Cave is available in both day and night time. You may need to switch up your strategy depending on the time of day due to lower visibility at night time.

Geographical Tips
Avoid Bridges In the Village
The village will have several bridges which you can use to traverse between buildings. However, these bridges feature little to no cover and will make you an easy target for enemies. Use the narrow alleys to move around instead.
Use Windows To Locate Enemies
Remember to check the windows as enemies may be hiding inside buildings. If there are, you can throw in a grenade to deal heavy damage to them or force them out of hiding.
Lay Down Traps In Narrow Paths
The Village's narrow alleyways are perfect for laying down traps such as Claymores and Proximity Mines. Due to the fast-paced action of close quarters combat, they may not notice your traps, and accidentally trip them!

Cave Differs In Brightness With Village
The difference in brightness between the village and cave differs. Instantly entering the cave will not give your eyes enough time to adjust to see if there are enemies nearby. Use a Heartbeat Sensor or Snapshot Grenade just to make sure the area is clear.
Utilize the Cave's Cover
Since the cave is a wide area, always remember to play it safe and move from cover to cover. By doing so, you can avoid the enemy's line of fire and safely move around the cave.
Enemies Can Avoid Certain Killstreaks In Cave
Since the Cave is not an open area, certain killstreaks may be ineffective against enemies hiding inside. Make sure to use your Support Helos and VTOL Jets when several enemies are found in the village.

Use Mid to Long Range Weapons In Cave
The Cave will require you to have a mid to long range weapon since it is a wide area with only a few cover options. Dispatching enemies from a safe distance while behind cover is ideal.

Another way to safely engage enemies in the Cave is to bring along a Deployable Cover field upgrade. Its fast setup may save you from a sudden encounter if you are not in cover.

Flash and Stun Grenades are especially useful in the cave since there is little cover that the enemy can hide behind to avoid the explosion. Use these tacticals to impair enemies before going in for the kill!

The village is perfect for close range weapons due to its narrow pathways and small rooms. SMGs and Shotguns will shine the most due to their effectiveness with close quarter encounters with enemies.
