Light Crystal - How To Get
Get From White Outcrops In Flooded Forest
Light Crystals can only be obtained from mining outcrops in the Flooded Forest zone. It's possible to get them from both blue and white outcrops, but they seem to have a higher chance of popping up from the rarer white outcrops. They may be hard to find, but they will be the most rewarding, so make sure to keep an eye out for them.
Drop More Frequently From White Deposits On Lower Ranks?
From our tests so far, it appears that playing high rank quests will cause Novacrystals to drop more, giving you a smaller overall yield of Lightcrystals. This is more or less just our impression so far, but we're inclined to say lower ranks will have a higher chance of dropping Light Crystals. However, if you want to also get other rarer items as well, you should of course do higher rank quests.
Most Efficient During Mining Upsurges
The most efficient time to gather this ore is when the Locale Info of a given map shows that it's experiencing a Mining Upsurge. Going on an expedition tour will guarantee some sort of locale info event to occur, so make sure to check it regularly!
