Atrium Map Layout
Small Square-Shaped Map
The Atrium is a small square map that only has a single level. It's design is symmetrical, and features both open and narrow spaces for different engagement situations.
Comprised of Two Parts
Outer Area
The outer area features tight corridors, and multiple archways and doorways. This area is suitable for both long range shootouts, and close quarters fights thanks to the pillars along the corridors.
Inner Area
The inner area of this map is more open when compared to the outer area. The single obstacle it has is a central fountain, which can save you from dying if you need to get behind cover to regenerate health.
No Upper Floors
This map does not feature any upper floors. You will not be able to get up high and use vantage points to scout for enemies to kill.
Atrium - Tips & Tricks
Move Along the Pillars
It is recommended to move through the outer area of the map by using the pillars as cover. This helps minimize the risk of being shot, and sustaining damage that could be fatal!
Check Corners To Scout Enemies
It would also be helpful if you got the habit of checking corners before proceeding through the corridor. Mount your weapon on a pillar to scout areas ahead before proceeding. If you see an enemy, you will be able to shoot them down easily!
Stick Close to the Fountain
When moving along the inner area, it would be best to stick close to the central fountain. Since this is the only obstacle in the inner area, it will help you break the enemy's line of fire on you, allowing you to heal in certain situations.
