Operation Crosswind Tips
Before Starting the Match
Recommended Weapons

| Dragunov | Semi-automatic sniper rifle which lets you quickly dispatch multiple targets at range |
Turn on Voice Chat
Turn on voice chat to better communicate with your team. Strategize on-the-fly and make quick adjustments to your game plan as the mission goes on.
1.Before Exiting Safehouse
Attach Suppressors to Weapons
Before exiting the warehouse, make sure to attach suppressors to your weapons. This will silence your shots, making you harder to detect in the early parts of the mission. It is recommended to stay hidden for as long as you can during the mission.
2. Hack Enemy Comms On Roof
Shoot Down Enemies Before Reaching the Comms
Shoot down unsuspecting enemies while making your way to the roof. They will immediately alert their allies when they see you. Once you have a clear shot, take them out immediately.
Stay Close to the Comms
Make sure to stay close to the comms while hacking it. The more people close to the comms, the faster it will be able to copy the files.
3. Hacking Main Terminal Comms
Watch Out For Juggernauts
There will be multiple Juggernauts in this area. It is advised to focus your fire on them to quickly bring them down. Killing the Juggernaut will also drop a minigun which you can use to kill other enemies in the area.
There is a Safe Room Behind the Comms
Use the small room behind the comms as a safe space and choke point. Several enemies will try to enter the room in single file, making it easy for you to deal with them.
4. Infiltrating the Plane
Use ATVs to Get to the Plane
Use the ATVs located near the tent to quickly reach the plane before it takes off. The plane will lower a ramp which you can use to get into the plane.
5. Locating the Nuclear Core
You Are On A Timer
You will be on a timer while looking for the Nuclear Core on the plane. You will have approximately 3 minutes to locate the core and escape the plan. Be ready to run!
You Will Fight In Enclosed Spaces
Encounters in this section of the mission will be happening in tight enclosed spaces. Use weapons that are excellent in close to mid range to defeat enemies quickly.
Nuclear Core is in the Lower Floor
The Nuclear Core can be found in a warhead on the lower floors. It will be just before you reach the end of the plane. Make sure to grab it before reaching the end.
Destroy Hatch to Escape Plane
Once you reach the end of the plane, look to your left to find a hatch. You can place a charge on this door to open it. Once it is opened, jump through it to make your escape!
7. Shooting Down Enemy Chopper
Use Launchers to Down Chopper
Keep an eye out for launchers to use against the chopper. Launchers like the JOKR are especially useful since this weapon can lock onto the chopper.

You Cannot Shoot If You're Holding the Core
If you are holding the core during this section, you will not be able to shoot. Ask your teammates to cover you while you hold on to the core. You will also drop the core if you are downed during this part of the mission. Make sure someone picks it up!
Use Close to Midrange Weapons
It is recommended to use close to mid range weapons while in this part of the mission. Since the map will be quite open with a few obstacles, weapons effective in this range will be able to help you survive.
