Aniyah Palace Map Layout
Large City Type Map
Aniyah Palace is one of the larger maps in Modern Warfare. It is a palace surrounded by an urban village, which allows for multiple combat scenarios! Your combat effectiveness depends on what weapon you have, and where you are on the map.
Palace at the Center
The center of the map features a large palace which has several levels, giving the map some verticality. Since it is at the center of the map, prepare to have several gunfights in this area.
Palace Surrounded By Small Village
The Palace is surrounded by a small village which consist of small buildings grouped closely together. With tons of accessible buildings and cover options, expect this area to cater to close range battles.
Roads Provide Little to No Cover
Roads will also surround the map. However these provide little to no cover. The only cover you will be able to use are cars littered along the road.
Vehicles Available For Transport
ATVs will be present on the map. You can use these to get around the map faster. However, please note that using these ATVs will expose you to enemy fire and will prevent you from firing back.

Geographical Tips
Avoid Using Main Roads
It is recommended to avoid using the main roads in the map as they provide little to no cover. Running along these roads will expose you to the enemy's line of fire. There is also little to no obstacles you can use for cover.
Palace Experiences Several Gunfights
the Palace will experience several gunfights since it is in the middle of the map. It is recommended that you only enter the palace with your teammates so that you have some backup.
Palace Has Multiple Levels
Remember that the palace will also have upper levels. Make sure to check the balconies as there may be enemies waiting for you there.
Loadout Tips
Overkill Perk is Recommended
The Overkill perk allows you to equip two different primary weapons to your loadout. Try to have weapons that cater to multiple ranges so that you can take on enemies when you encounter them in different situations.

The Palace Area is a wide open zone which allows you to engage enemies at multiple ranges. Use mid to long range weapons in order to effectively deal damage to far away targets.

Close range weapons are useful when fighting inside buildings. Since there is little to no room to hide, close range weapons will help you quickly take out enemies that you encounter!

Lethals such as Claymores and Proximity Mines are best used to punish careless enemies. Place them in a room's blind spot such as behind doorways or along the stairway to surprise enemies rushing in!

Tacticals such as the Heartbeat Sensor or Snapshot Grenade are useful since they feed you information on enemy positions. Since this is a large map, you can easily track enemy locations!

Offensive killstreaks such as the Cruise Missile and Chopper Gunner are useful in this map since most of the map is under open air. With the sheer size of the map, you are sure to find an enemy wandering outside of a building.
