Use Fire Weapon Or Torch Pod To Melt Shell

Use Fire Weapon Or Torch Pod To Melt Shell

When the Lavasioth is out of the lava, his shell will harden over time, making it harder for you to hit it with critical attacks. Counter this by bringing him back to the lava area, use Fire-based weapons, or fling Torch Pods to melt his shell.

Use Screamer Pod To Get Him Out Of Ground

Use Screamer Pod To Get Him Out Of Ground

The Lavasioth will burrow into the ground once in a while. To get the monster out, use a Screamer Pod. It'll fling the Lavasioth from the ground and leave it vulnerable for a few seconds.

Aim For Head To Stagger Lavasioth

Aim For Head To Stagger Lavasioth

Enough damage to the Lavasioth's head will stagger it. This gives you a bit of time to do more damage to it while it's immobile.

Pull Lavasioth From The Ground

Screamer Pods are needed to pull the Lavasioth from the ground when it burrows. This will eject them from where they're buried and stun them for a bit, giving you time to land powerful attacks.

Lavasioth - Moves & Counters

MovesCounter
Magma Attack Spits magma from its mouth. Dodge to the side to avoid the magma ball.
Charged Magma Attack Charges up and spits magma that explodes on impact. Use invincible dodge or move away to keep safe.
Body Tackle Throws body to the side to tackle you. Dodge to the side of its head to avoid this attack.
Rush Forward Drops to the ground and rushes forward. Leaves magma on the ground. Roll to the side to avoid getting run over.
Tail Spin Spins and uses tail to damage you. Dodge away from Lavasioth to keep safe.
Ground Burrow Burrows into ground and spews magma. Use Screamer Pod or keep away from ground where Lavasioth emerges.

Has Very Dangerous Charged Magma Attack

The Lavasioth's most powerfu attack is its charged magma move. It rears back and then shoots a magma ball that will explode on impact. It's best to keep far away or use an invincible dodge to survive this move.

Burrows Underground & Spews Magma

Burrows Underground & Spews Magma

When the Lavasioth buries into the ground, it will emerge and spew magma from the ground. Move behind it to land free hits on its body.
