Sturdy Bones can be obtained by rummaging through the Bone Piles in High-Rank Areas. Use the map to pinpoint locations of these piles so you can easily get to them.

You can also get Sturdy Bones via the Bone Piles in the Lava Caverns. However, the drop rate is undeniably lower in the low-rank version of the map. So if you want more Sturdy Bones, it is better to get it via the high-rank maps.
