Safeguard Walkthrough Chart

Safeguard - Spec Ops Tips
1. Defeating Incoming Enemies
You Only Have a Handgun
You will only have a handgun at the start of the mission. Make sure to pick up a primary weapon after dispatching enemies to protect yourself from the next incoming wave!
2, 4, 6. Readying Your Defenses
Restock On Stims
Make sure to restock you supply of Stims. It would be best to have as many Stims on your person during the match as these increase your health regeneration, allowing you to survive for longer during the fight!

Ready your defenses by placing Claymores in chokepoints such as doorways and stairwells. These will allow you to instantly kill any enemies that try to pass through these areas. It can also blow up multiple enemies bunched up together.

Before the next wave, a chopper will drop a Care Package for you and your team. These contain random killstreaks that you can use to defend yourself against incoming waves.

Pick Off Enemies From Afar
Use the Sniper Rifles found on top of the buildings to whittle down enemy numbers as they make their way to your location. This will lower the number of enemies you have to deal with in close quarters!
Stay On High Ground
It is advised to stay on high ground such as the upper floors of buildings. Aside from gaining the height advantage, this will force enemies into passing through chokepoints in order to get to you.
Remember to Use Killstreaks
Make sure to deploy killstreaks such as the Cruise Missile to damage multiple enemies. You can also deploy killstreaks such as the Sentry Gun to automatically engage enemies for you.

Throw down some Molotovs to control groups of enemies that are bunched up together. These will make them easier to kill and will save you a lot of trouble by conserving some of your ammo.
