How to Unlock Zinogre - Steb by Step Guide

Complete the Main Story

Complete the Main Story

The first thing you need to do to unlock Zinogre is finishing the main story. This is due to the Guiding Lands being locked out until players clear all Assigned Quests.

Head to the Guiding Lands

The Guiding Lands is a new area unlocked by talking to specific NPCs in Seliana. Head on over to the new area and continue progressing through the new storyline until you get a cutscene with Zinogre.

Increase Fanged Wyvern Analysis

You'll need to lure out Zinogre before you'll be able to fight it. This requires you to increase your analysis level for Fanged Wyverns, a new feature introduced in the Guiding Lands. There are a few ways to increase analysis levels.

Break Monster Parts

Break Monster Parts

When fighting monsters, aim to break or severe specific parts of their body. This will help progress your analysis level no matter which monster you do this to.

Defeat / Capture Monsters

Defeat / Capture Monsters

Once you've broken their body parts, you can continue your hunt and defeat or capture the monster. This will also add to your analysis level.

Collect Turf War Tracks

Collect Turf War Tracks

Turf War tracks are new environmental tracks that you can collect across the Guiding Lands. These are spread out throughout the area.

Lure Zinogre to an Area

Lure Zinogre to an Area

Finally, you can talk to Handler to lure out Zinogre to whichever area you wish to fight it in. This can only be done by maxing out the Fanged Wyvern Analysis Level.

Zinogre is a fierce monster that stands on top of the food chain. Increasingly dangerous, it's mobile with devastating physical and thunder attacks.

Doesn't Roam Around Areas

Doesn

You won't be able to find Zinogre unless you complete the requirements to unlocking it. Even then, you can only meet it in Investigations or its special Arena quest.

Collect Tracks to Unlock Investigations

Similar to other monsters, you can get Investigations for Zinogre by collecting its monster tracks. It's recommended that you keep collecting tracks whenever you go hunting for it.
