What is Fast Travel?
Instantly Move From One Area To Another
Fast Travel is a feature that allows you to quickly move to another area without needing to walk there. A Wingdrake will deliver you to the new location instead!
Select the Fast Travel Location via the Map
In order to Fast Travel, you need to open up your map. Select the location you want to fast travel to, and select "Confirm". Please note that you will only be able to fast travel to campsites on the map.
Must Have Unlocked the Camp to Fast Travel
You will not be able to fast travel to camps that you have not yet discovered. Make sure to have set up the camp on the map in order to make it a working fast travel point.
When to Use Fast Travel
When Gathering Items
You can use the fast travel feature to quickly get to a campsite and deliver the items you've gathered to complete a quest. Please note that you will not be able to fast travel to a campsite if you are holding something large like a wyvern egg.
Use to Chase Fleeing Monsters
You can also use the fast travel feature to chase down fleeing monsters and get to them quickly. This is especially useful for when you need to hunt down multiple monsters in a single hunt!
