What is an SOS Flare?
Ask For Assistance Mid-Quest
The SOS Flare is a feature that allows you to ask for assistance from other hunters while in the middle of a quest! Hunters of any rank will be able to assist you, but please note that hunters only from the same server will be able to help!
When & How Can You Use an SOS Flare?
Fire an SOS Flare From Your Menu
You will be able to fire an SOS Flare from your Quest menu. After firing the SOS Flare, the menu will then display the option to cancel the flare.
Conditions For Using an SOS Flare
In some story quests, you will not be able to immediately fire an SOS Flare. You may need to progress the quest up to a certain point (usually a cutscene) until you can fire the SOS Flare.
SOS Flare - Things to Remember
Difficulty & Rewards Will Differ
Please note that the difficulty of the quest will change when someone joins the quest. Hunters who join 10 minutes after the Flare was initially fired will also have their rewards reduced!
How to Kick Players

| 5 | Select "Remove from Quest" from the drop down menu |
Only Kick When A Player Is Not Helpful
At times there will be players answering your SOS Flare only to collect the rewards. They will not help you complete the quest at all. Keep an eye out for these players as you will not benefit from them.
Only Hosts Are Able to Kick
Not everyone will be able to kick players in a quest. Only the host of the quest will be able to kick players.
Tips for Kicking
Kick Before Confirming Members
Make sure to check out the HR and Equipment of hunters trying to assist you in your quest. If they seem like they will not be able to help you kick them before finalizing so that other hunters who want to help can assist you!
