How To Use Shards
Each Shard Is Used For A Specific Weapon
Each Shard is only used for a specific weapon so don't hesitate to use it to craft a weapon. Shards cannot be sold either.
Use Shards On The 2nd Playthrough For The Best Weapon
When playing the challenging 2nd playthrough "Final Fantasy Mode", The Shards you obtain will have a + sign. These Shards can be used to create the best weapon in the game, the Ultima Weapon.

Start By Crafting Stormcry
To craft weapons using Shards, you will start by crafting Stormcry and continue upgrading it. You cannot skip any steps so you will need to do it in order.
