Arete Stone Guide - How To Use & UnlockScore Is Determined By Performance In Battle
The score is calculated by their performance in battle. The battle performance value varies depending on two factors: the amount of damage inflicted on the enemy and the variety of battle techniques done.
What Are Battle Techniques?
Battle Techniques are judged when specific conditions are met during various combat actions and Abilities. In Arcade Mode, scores are added when actions are made, but outside of Arcade Mode, there is only a small increase in the Limit Break Gauge, so there are few benefits.
Conditions For Judging Can Be Checked On The Abilities Screen
The conditions for judging battle techniques can be checked on the details screen of the Abilities (Use the △ Button to move to the next screen)
Battle Performance Is Determined By The Number Of Colors & Stars
The battle performance obtained from battle techniques depends on the number of colors and starts. The details are as follows:

Tips To Get A High Score In Arcade Mode
Tips On How To Get A High Score
・When Abilities are activated, the conditions for determining Battle Techniques are met ・Abilities are constantly activated ・Use Abilities that attack in range to take out groups of small fry at once ・While Abilities are not available, use normal attacks to gain melee attacks ・When Evade is used, use Precision Dodge → Temper Attack ・When the gauge is full. use Limit Break in the next battle against formidable foes |
When Activating Abilities, Satisfy The Conditions For Determining Battle Techniques
Abilities should be used at a time that satisfies the judgment conditions of the Battle Technique as much as possible. For example, "Ignition" no matter how many hits you give to a single enemy in a row, you will not receive a judgment unless you hit multiple enemies.
Activate Abilities Continuously
To score points by using a series of battle techniques with Abilities, activate Abilities constantly as long as you have the gauge. Since the L2 button can be used to switch Eikon, switching between Abilities during a long Abilities activation will make it easier to activate the next Abilities immediately.
Defeat A Swarm Of Small Fry At Once With Ranged Attack Abilities
You can earn a lot of scores by defeating the swarms of small dry at once with ranged Attack-type Abilities. Flames of Rebirth is easy to use and is recommended.
While Abilities Are Not Available, Use Normal Attack To Generate Melee Attacks
If the Abilities gauge is all out, hit a series of Normal Attacks to generate Melee Attacks to score.
When Evade Is Performed, It Is Called "Precision Dodge" Then "Temper"
If you evade an enemy's Attack with just the right timing, it becomes a Precision Dodge and you will receive a battle technique judgment. Also, attacking after Precision Dodge will result in a "Precision Strike", which will also be judged as a Battle Technique. Do not just Evade, but be aware of these two things while Evading.
Dodge Guide - How To Precision DodgeOnce The Gauge Has Been Accumulated, Limit Break Is Best Against Formidable Foes
Limit Break not only increases Clive's Attributes when activated, but it also gives him a Battle Technique decision for defeating enemies during its active mode. When the gauge has been accumulated, activate Limit Break immediately in the next battle against strong foes.
