What Is Fully Staggered (100% Staggered)
Immobilize Enemies Temporarily By Fully Reducing Their Gauges
When battling formidable foes, Will Gauge is indicated by a yellow gauge displayed below the enemy's HP gauge. When the enemies' Will Gauges are fully exhausted, they will become 100% staggered. In this state, the enemy is immobile for a short while which provides an opportunity for you to deal significant damage.
Damage Increases When Enemy Is 100% Staggered
Your damage output can increase up to 1.5 times when attacking a 100% staggered target so make the most out of it.
How To Reduce Will Gauge?
Exhaust By Attacking
You can deplete an opponent's Will Gauge by attacking so connect as many attacks as possible to stagger the target quickly.
Enemy Will Be Staggered When Will Gauge Is At Half
When the Will Gauge is reduced to 50%, the enemy becomes staggered, and its action will be stopped, giving you an advantage during combat.
Magic Burst Can Greatly Reduce Will Gauge
After a melee attack with □ button hits the enemy, pressing △ button at the right moment can trigger a follow-up attack by Magic Burst. This can deal powerful damage and significantly reduce the formidable foe's Will Gauge.
