How To Deal With Dark Screen
Adjust the screen brightness through the system graphic settings. The brightness has 11 levels and ranges from 0 to 10 for each brightness and UI brightness.
Level 10 Brightness Is Highly Recommended
FF16 has many dark scenes which is to why it is recommended to set the brightness to 10, which is the maximum setting.
Change Your Monitor Settings
If the settings through the game is still dark, you can also check your monitor brightness setting and adjust the brightness according to your liking.
Optimized HDR Monitor Is Recommended
FF16 game is optimized for an HDR-based output, and it usually appears brighter when using a monitor with an HDR output. You can also check your monitor if it has an HDR option so you can change it for a better gaming experience.
SDR Monitors Are Slightly Darker
A SDR monitor will be slightly darker compared to an HDR monitor. If you think that your monitor is still dark despite changing and adjusting the brightness setting in the game and in the monitor itself, your monitor might be an SDR type. If given a chance you can consider changing your monitor for a good gaming experience.
