List Of Healing Methods

Use Healing Items

Use Assigned Cross Button

Assign heal items to shortcut keys and use the cross button to use them during battle. Potion can be obtained fairly frequently so make sure to use it.

Can Be Used From The Menu

You can also use heal items from the menu. Bring the cursor to the item you want to use, then press x and hold to use it.

Items Refill Upon Gameover

Both High Potion and Potion are refilled upon Gameover. So make sure to use a healing potion once HP is low.

Timely Healing To Automate Potion

Potions will be automatically used if you equip the accessory "Ring of Timely Healing". If you're having trouble using a potion during battle try using it.

Accessory	Effect
Ring of Timely Healing	Once Clive gets below a certain HP, it will automatically use the potion. *If you have both Potion and High Potion, the ring will prioritize using Potion first.

Command Torgal To Heal

You can also heal by commanding Torgal. However, it doesn't heal a lot and heals over time, so it is not very useful if you're looking for instant healing.

Timely Strikes Or Torgal To Automate

Equip accessory "Timely Strike" Or "Ring of Timely Assistance" to automate command to Torgal. Use them according to your action game skills.

Accessory	Effect
Ring of Timely Strikes	Press □ to automatically use equipped Ability and Feat to do variety of attacks.
Ring of Timely Assistance	Commands Torgal automatically depending on Clive's attack. (Ring of Timely Strikes has the same effects)

Use Limit Break To Heal

Using Limit Break will slowly heal and Clive will not go below 1hp. However, you can only use them when you have charged Limit Gauge so check your charge before using them.

Use Phoenix's Flames of Rebirth

Use Phoenix's Ability "Flames of Rebirth" to heal the white gauge of Clive's HP while causing flames in the surrounding area. Use it when the HP is low.

Are There Healing Location & Magic?

Heal By Going Back To The Hideaway

Depending on your progress in the story, you will not be able to go back. However, going back will fully restore Clive's HP, so if you want to save Healing Items, it is recommended to return to The Hideaway.

Early Game Joshua Can Use Healing Magic

In the early game, you have a chance to control Joshua. Press the □ button to use Curaga. However, this will be the only time you can use a healing spell

Complete Quest To Increase Capacity and Potency

Capacity and potency of Potion and High Potion can be increased by completing certain quests. Make sure to complete these quests if you're constantly running out of potions.

Potion	Heals 20% of max HP
High Potion	Heal 40% of max HP
Elixir	Heals entire HP
Last Elixir	Upon KO, automatically restores all HP, fills limit gauge, and increases attack power by 10% and defense by 30% for 60 seconds.
