The sole country that exists in the Ash continent and its capital is Stonehill. It has a Mothercrystal, Drake's Spine, that has been used to maintain a powerful military force and keep other nations at bay. Its king plans on using his might to test the might of other kingdoms of Valisthea, which has an alliance with the Dhalmekian Republic.

An autonomous country that can be found on the island between Storm & Ash continent. Its capital is Twin Side and has a Mothercrystal, Dragon's Tail. This nation has been in conflict with the neighboring countries over its interests over the country's Mothercrystal but it became a neutral state after signing a non-aggression treaty. The nation does not have a dominant military force, and a council consisting of representatives from each country governs it.

These are urban states located in the southeastern area of Storm. It was a prosperous commercial city that flourished through trade with various countries but became independent in the continental history of 857 (※) after the Dhalmekian Republic civil war. Currently, politics are conducted through a deliberative system of merchants. There is no Mothercrystal within its territory and is a neutral country without a military force.
※ At the start of the game, the year is 873 in the continental calendar, which is 16 years before the protagonist's current age.

The alliance, Kingdom of Waloed, sent reinforcements when the Dhalmekian Republic entered a state of war and the Battle of the Twin Realms broke out.
The Dhalmekian Republic & Holy Empire Of Sanbreque
It used to be an alliance but it was withdrawn due to the Night of Flames. Later, they were in a state of war over the Crystal Dominion.
