How To Defeat Behemoth King

Boss Walkthrough

Walkthrough
1Avoid the meteorites and shockwaves by moving backward → jumping
2Attack after evading its leaping attack
3Safe to evade the lightning by moving sideways
4Evade Maelstorm sideways → keep a safe distance
5Move back to prepare for the Reign of Fire
6Remember the order of Apocalypse and do your best to evade

Jump To Evade The Four Horsemen

The Four Horsemen is an attack that drops 4 meteorites simultaneously and produces a shockwave. Avoid the 2 shockwaves by jumping over while moving backward. The follow-up attacks will include lightning, meteorites, and leaping attacks, so be careful to avoid them until the end.

Attack After Evading Leaping Attacks

There is an opportunity to attack after dodging the leaping attack. This is great timing to take a safe position so use abilities in addition to the rush after Precision Dodge.

Fight At Close Range If You Want To Beat It Quickly

To finish the battle fast, learn the timing of dodging at close range. If you keep dodging while staying near the target, you can deal damage more often.

Evade Lightning By Moving Sideways

The attack that drops lightning over a wide area can be avoided by distancing yourself from the target. The boss often launches a Ravage attack after the lightning but it can be easily avoided by moving sideways.

Move Sideways & Keep Distance During Maelstorm

A small mist surrounds Clive during the Maelstrom and it becomes a large tornado after a while. The tornado remains in place for a certain period as it grows, so try to keep your distance and stay mobile as much as possible.

Move Backward To Evade Reign Of Fire

Reign of Fire is an attack where meteorites fall over a wider range than Four Horsemen, including shockwaves. It is possible to dodge the shockwaves by jumping but it is safer to move back from the beginning and stay out of range.

Familiarize With Apocalypse

Attack Rotation

Summary
1Sideway meteorites x4 and Reign of Fire
2Four Horsemen x2
3A huge meteorite falls

First, avoid the meteorites and move back to get out of the attack range. There is only a short span between Four Horsemen's 2 consecutive attacks so it is important not to lose sight of where the meteorites are falling. The last giant meteorite can be identified by a circle of sparkling light on the ground so move away from that spot.
