DLC Release Date
There Are No Official Information Regarding DLC
At this point, there is no official announcement regarding DLC. Furthermore, there are no information about the development of DLC. It is currently unknown whether or not there will be DLC for FF16.
Some Of The Past Series Had DLC

Both FF15 (Released in 2016) and FF7 Remake (Released in 2020) have DLC. So there is a high chance there will be DLC for FF16.
Most Likely To Take More Than 1 Year To Release
Above mentioned FF15 and FF7 Remake both released DLC more than 1 year after the release of the game. So we will have to wait some time before hearing informantion regarding the DLC.
There Is Chance For Pre-Order Bonuses To Be Released In The Future
In the Japanese Official Site it is mentioned that "※ In game items might be available for purchase in the future". So there is a chance Pre-Order Bonuses will be released as DLC.

DLC Content Prediction
Leviathan Might Be Added?
Leviathan is drawn on the bottom left of the Special Art Box included in the Collector's Edition. There have been many speculations that Leviathan will be in the game.
Small Hint Can Be Found Inside The Book Found In-game
A book can be found inside a hidden house which briefly suggests the existence of a Sea Monster in the ocean. It is not clearly mentioned but it could be an indirect indication of Leviathan.
Chance Of Past Series Boss Appearing Again
FF16 is the first Action Game in the series and has a different combat system. It will be great if the boss from the past series reappears and be able to fight in a new combat system.
Dive Deep On Character Other Than Clive
FF16 has a well-built story around Clive, however the game also have other interesting characters which could be further introduced in the DLC.
Extra Story About Clive?
Developers of FF16 mentioned multiple times before the release that their goal is to fully draw and end the story of Clive. For this reason, it is unlikely that they will add more story for Clive.
