How To Upgrade Accessories
Only Available In Final Fantasy Mode
Accessories cannot be upgraded in the first playthrough. This feature is only available in the Final Fantasy mode which can be played after completing the first playthorugh.

When you go to the blacksmith at the Hideaway in Final Fantasy mode, the Accessories' section is added to the equipment upgrade screen.

It is possible to combine accessories to upgrade it where materials are not required, unlike the other types of equipment.

Accessories That End With '+'
Most upgraded accessories are marked with a '+' symbol.

You can upgrade the Badge of Might & Badge of Mettle up to +3.
Different Upgrade Method
The Badge of Might and Badge of Mettle have a special way of upgrading. When combining two of the same type, the result is a +2 increase while combining two different types has a result of a +3 increase (it is not possible to go from +2 to +3).

Name Changes Upon Upgrade
When two accessories with the same name are combined, some of them are going to have a different name.
How To Use Similar Accessories?
Equip Similar Accessories Simultaneously
The accessories of different status, such as those that has not been upgraded, +1, +2, & +3, are treated as separate piece of equipment so it is possible to equip them simultaneously. For example, the Cleric's Medallion and Cleric's Medallion +1 are treated as separate equipment so both can be equipped at the same time.
Impossible For Accessories With Same Name
Two accessories that have exactly the same name cannot be equipped simultaneously. The same applies to accessories with the same name and the same level of enhancement, which is the opposite of the one mentioned above.
