How To Use Basic Counterattacks

Parry

Instructions
1	Counter enemy attack by pressing (Melee)
2	Attack while enemy slows down.

Perform a Parry by using a melee attack or a sword ability right when the enemy strikes.The enemy's movement slows down giving you plenty of time to deal a significant amount of damage.

Precision Counter

Instructions
1	Press (Dodge) right when the enemy strikes.
2	Attack after successfully dodging.

You can perform a "Precision Dodge" by dodging an attack at the right time, slowing down the enemy's movement. Then you can attack to perform a "Precision Counter" which deals more damage.

Precision Sic

Instructions
1	Perform a Precision Dodge by pressing(Dodge)
2	Press the up cross key (Command Torgal to attack)

You can perform a Precision Sic by commanding Torgal to attack after performing a Precision Dodge, which allows you to deal more damage.

How To Use Eikon Ability Counterattacks

Precision Heatwave

Instructions
1	Press +or right when the enemy attacks using magic.

* Set Heatwave to R2+ □ or △

By performing a "Precision Heatwave" you neutralize the enemy's magic and increase the number of projectiles of your attack. The cooldown time is also reduced to 1/3.

*Earn a trophy when performing it for the first time.

Precision Gambit

Instructions
1	Press+or right when the enemy attacks.

* Set Rook's Gambit to R2+ □ or △

Activate Rook's Gambit right when the enemy attacks to perform "Precision Gambit" and deal a significantly larger amount of damage.
The cooldown time is also reduced to 1/3.

Titanic Counter

Instructions
1	Press right when the enemy attacks (Precision Block)
2	Press 3 times (Titanic Counter)

* Equip Titan as your Eikon

Perform a "Precision Block" by using Titanic Block right when the enemy attacks to block while also attacking the enemy. This will fill your Limit Break Gauge and also block any attacks. In addition, by pressing the □ button after the Precision Block you can perform a "Titanic Counter" which delivers a powerful attack multiple times.

*Earn a trophy when performing it for the first time.

Precision Fists

Instructions
1	Press +or right when the enemy attacks.

* Set Raging Fists to R2+ □ or △

Perform "Precision Fists" by using Raging Fists right when the enemy attacks to deal a significant amount of damage. The cooldown time is also reduced to 1/3.

Permafrost

Instructions
1	Press right when the enemy attacks.

* Equip Shiva as your Eikon.

Perform "Permafrost" by using Cold Snap right when the enemy attacks to freeze enemies across a wider area. The duration of the attack is extended in relation to the strength of the enemy's attack.

Recommended Counterattacks

Precision Counters can be performed consecutively unlike Eikon abilities so we recommend it when using melee attacks. Precision Heatwave and Precision Gambit deal extra damage and also reduces the cooldown time to 1/3 so use it often once you get used to battle.

Not Recommended

A Parry is very difficult to time it right so it is not recemmended. Precision Sic does not deal a lot of damage compared to Precision Counters, so that is also not recommended.
