Collect From Quests

Apart from the main quest line, you can receive sub-quests in various locations. Each quest has different rewards, but you may receive Gil or materials for cash, so it is recommended to do them when you find them.

Sell Gil For Redemption

Some materials has no purpose other than being exchanged to gil. There is no problem redeeming those materials as soon as they are obtained.

Sell Potions & High Potions

If you are confident that you will not take damage in battle, you can make a little money by selling Potions and High Potions. However, be aware that if you sell all of them, you will not be able to recover health during battle.

Selling Materials Should Be Avoided

Materials are needed to create and enhance Gear and Equipment. Some materials can be worth quite a bit of money if sold, but it is recommended to keep them instead of selling them, except for materials that are exclusively for gil.

Uses For Money / Gil

Purchase Gear, Equipment, & Materials At The Shop

ItemRecommendation/Uses
Accessories★★★★★
If it enhances the Abilities you use, it should be a priority purchase
Material★★★★☆
Necessary to create and strengthen gear and equipment. If obtaining material will let you immediately able to upgrade the weapon, you can prioritize this.
Weapons & Armor★★★★☆
If you can upgrade your ATK or DEF stat by buying the Weapon, you can do so. However, Weapon and Armor created in Forge are often more powerful than purchased ones.
Items★★☆☆☆
Low priority as it can be obtained outside of the shop.

Since Gil can be consumed sparingly, if there is something that can upgrade your current Attack or Defense, you may purchase it. It is also recommended to check the Gear and Equipment that you can create before buying them because creating them in the Forge is stronger than buying them.
