Eikon can be switched by pressing the L2 button during combat. It is possible to use the abilities of the first Eikon, then switch to the next Eikon and use its abilities to create a melee combo attack.
Eikon Summon Can Be Replaced In The Equipment Menu
The Eikon summon replacement can be done in the equipment screen of the menu. Select the Feat highlighted in the image above and change it to your preferred Eikon.
Similarly, you can change the abilities equipped on each Eikon summon in the equipment menu. You can equip them as long as you have acquired the abilities for the Eikon summon itself, you can also equip it on other Eikons if you have mastered the ability.
In FF16, they are treated as god-like beings imbued with extraordinary power. They can manifest in the mortal realm through a process known as Priming through intermediaries called Dominants.
There Is One Eikon For Each Of The Eight Element In FF16
In FF16, there are eight attributes including Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ice, Lightning, Light, and Dark, on which it is believed that there is one Eikon corresponding to each element attribute. However, in the story, Leviathan was teased to be the Eikon of water, but the true identity and appearance of the Dominant are not yet disclosed.
Dominants are individuals with the ability to perform Priming on Eikons. They possess immense and incomprehensible power, which leads to them being both revered and feared by many, as well as used as weapons often in battles.
Priming can be classified into two forms: the first is Priming, where individuals assume the form of an Eikon, and the second is Semi-Priming, where they retain their human appearance while still wielding their powers. Generally, they can control the Eikon willingly, but in cases of severe emotional shock, they may manifest in a state of rampage.
