Add Torgal To Your Party
From Fanning Embers, Torgal will be added to your party.
Defeat Enemies And Progress Through Route
Defeat enemies and progress through the route.
Dragon Aevis Will Appear
While you are progressing, a powerful enemy, Dragon Aevis, will appear.
Defeat Enemies And Progress Further
After defeating Dragon Aevis, return back on the road and progress.
In The Field, Battle With Fafnir
When you arrive in the open circle, battle with Fafnir.
Defeat Enemies And Progress Down The Road
After defeating Fafnir, return back on the road.
Battle Against Midnight Raven
When you progress to the back, you will battle the Midnight Raven.
Cross Down To Orabelle Downs
From the World Map, cross down to Orabell Downs, and unlock Obelisk (warp point).
How To Beat Fafnir
Basically Evade → Attack┗ There are a lot of wide swinging motions.Make sure to dodge the whole side attack combo up to the rolling attack.Be careful of the shockwave at the end of the spinning attack.
Watch The Movements Of The Enemy And Dodge
Most of the attack of Fanfirs involves large movements. Dodging at the timing of the swing will reduce the number of you receive. Aim for an Attack after dodging.
Beware Of Rolling Attacks From The Side
If you are positioned beside Fafnir, he can attack you by stomping from the side. It is followed by a rolling attack so, try to keep your distance so that you can Evade until the rolling attack.
Rolling Attack Ends With A Shockwave
Fafnir's Spin Cycle is a rolling attack that makes the boss spins around the perimeter of the stage and charges at you. At the end of the Attack, it will dive toward Clive releasing shockwaves on landing that has a wide AoE, so make sure to dodge that as well.

Since there are several soldiers besides the boss, focus on reducing the number of soldiers first. It is a good idea to reduce the number of soldiers one by one while dodging the attack of the bosses.
Main Strategy Is To Evade → Attack
Because Midnight Raven moves quickly and agilely, watch the enemy's movements and prioritize evading actions. Evading attacks at the right time and launching a series of blows from Precision Dodge is an effective strategy.

During the battle, it will switch to cutscene where you need to press □ button repeatedly. Be aware that you should hit the buttons that will appear in the screen.
Beware Of Fuuton → Assassinate Combo
The boss disappears with Fuuton and then attacks from a distance with an assassinate. If you are hit by the Assassinate, you will be heavily damaged by the Rush Attack. So you should not lose sight of the enemy's position after Fuuton.
