Stronger Enemies & Different Placements
In Final Fantasy mode, the enemies are significantly stronger and different placements compared to other modes. This mode can be quite challenging even for skilled players. It is essential to strengthen Clive's abilities to stand a chance in this mode. But the enemies attacking pattern does not change.
More Experience Points To Get
The Experience Points you obtain from defeating enemies have also increased significantly which makes gaining level more convenient. You can easily level up by proceeding with the story.
Forge Ultima Weapon
You can create the legendary sword "Ultima Weapon" by completing the Final Fantasy Challenge mode. The recipe for the weapon is only available in this mode, so you must attempt the challenge if you want to obtain it.
Better Enhancement
You can start to upgrade equipment to +3 and higher. To obtain the equipment with the highest level, you must obtain the required materials that are marked with a "+" symbol which can only be obtained in the Final Fantasy Challenge mode.
「+」Materials Getting Process Is The Same
Just the「+」will be added to the name, the materials can be gotten as the same way as the 1st round. The drops of bosses and Risky Mobs is the best way so defeat the enemies as you can.
Accessories Can Be Upgraded
Aside from equipment, you can also upgrade accessories. If you have two of the same accessory, a new accessory with the same effect can be created but with better stats. However, if an accessory does not improve your overall stats then upgrading the accessory is not advised.

Only in this mode you can increase Clive's level up to 100. If you want to develop Clive's maximum capacity, raise his level in Final Fantasy mode.
No Button Display For QTE
During boss battles, the button prompts are no longer displayed. You will have to judge which button to press based on the visual cues. The basic attack is now □ button while evade is R1 button. Special actions are performed by pressing □ button consecutively.
Battle & Combat System GuideImpossible To Switch Mode
Once you started playing Final Fantasy mode, it is impossible to switch to other modes. If you find it difficult, you have no other choice but to level up Clive and push through the entirety of the challenge.

Maximize On First Play through
Your saved data from the first play through is carried over to NG+ so maximize your stats and upgrade equipment & abilities to the highest to make your NG+ experience easier.
Frequently Upgrade Equipment
The enemy's damage & HP are very high, and the difference between attributes is also a handicap factor. Check the Forge and Shop regularly to spot a better equipment. Do everything to obtain better ones.
Consider The Usage For Limited Materials
Be careful when using materials that have multiple uses but limited in quantity in a single play through such as Orichalcum Dirk. If you are just trying to clear the game, you can such materials without any issue but if you want to maximize your resources to craft specific equipment, check the required materials before using limited materials.

Since the difficulty of game changes greatly depending on the number of potions and other items that can be used or carried, prioritize to complete the quests that can increase the number of inventory and enhance the effect.
Learn To Evade
Since the attack of the enemies in Final Fantasy mode is too high, some can inflict lethal damage to you. To improve your survivability, learn how to evade and reduce the chance of getting hit as much as possible.
Make Sure To Purchase Potions
When you have time to stop by the shop, make sure to purchase potions. By the amount of healing items, the struggle to during Boss battles will change.
