Counter The Enemy's Attack By Pressing The □ Button
If you counter an incoming attack with □ button at the right moment, it becomes a Parry. When you successfully parry, it causes the enemy's movement to slow down, allowing you to use abilities that have significant time gaps.
More Difficult To Execute Than Dodge
Precision Dodge allows for an easier escape to a position outside the enemy's attack range even if it fails, but a failed parry results in getting hit by the enemy's attack. Thus, until you are familiar with the enemy's attack patterns, it is not recommended to use parries, but continuously evade with dodges for a safer approach in combat.

To successfully parry attacks, it is recommended to learn the enemy's attack patterns as it requires precise timing. Since the timing of enemy attacks varies, try repeatedly observing and discerning their attacks to determine the appropriate timing for parries.
Use Timely Focus As An Alternate If Your Attempt Fails
By equipping the Ring of Timely Focus, evading becomes easier if you parry at the wrong moment, which reduces the risk of taking damage. Take note that this differs when equipped with Timely Evasion, as it automatically cancels attacks and performs a dodge, so it's better to remove it if you're aiming for a parry.
