Set Scenario For Practice Battle

Training Mode allows you to practice combat. You can adjust various settings from the options menu according to your training preference. This mode is separate from the other modes and is always available.

Training Mode Features

Elements You Can Set
- Display the input status of the controller on the screen
- Display action log
- Clive's HP won't decrease
- Clive's HP automatically regenerates
- Torgal participates in the training
- Torgal acts automatically
- Display Precision Sic timing
- Display Magic Burst timing
- Use abilities continuously
- Battle performance auto reset after a while
- Enemy aggro
- Enemy invincibility
- Select the enemy that appears (except bosses)

Only Defeated Enemy Can Be Selected Other Than Bosses

Only Defeated Enemy Can Be Selected Other Than Boss

Only enemies that you have defeated and are not bosses can be selected as your opponents.

Arate Stone - Arcade Mode Details

Clear Stage For Combat Score

Arcade mode allows you to re-challenge cleared stages and set a new Combat Score. Your score is calculated based on your "Battle Performance," which is determined by two factors: the amount of damage dealt to enemies and the battle techniques used.

Rules Summary
- Clive's Level is limited
- Some equipment and items are not available (such as Timely rings)
- Limited to Action Focused Mode

Ranking Is Displayed Online

If you connect online, a score ranking for each stage will be displayed which allows you to compete with other players. However, there are no special rewards for clearing stages or achieving high scores.

Arate Stone - Replay Mode Details

Rerun Cleared Stage

Replay mode allows you to replay cleared stages with your current status. This mode is mainly useful for gaining experience, collecting items, and unlocking missed treasure chests. However, note that the amount of experience gained is reduced and the drops from enemies may be different.

Final Chronolith Trials

Challenge A Higher Difficulty Version Of The Chronolith Trial

Chronolith Trial is a series of trials in which players will have level and Gear/Equipment limitations. Once you complete a Chronolith Trial which are scattered all over the map, you will be able to challenge a higher difficulty version of it though the Arete Stone.

Complete To See How Much Time You Can Leave On The Time Limit

In addition to simply trying to clear the game, you can also compete to see how much time you can leave on the clock when completing a trial. The time limit increases when bonus techniques are achieved during the battle, so the key is how well you aim to achieve them.

Unlocked After Arriving At Cid's Hideaway & Progressing A Little

After visiting Cid's Hideaway in the main story "Hide, Hideaway", the Arete Stone will be unlocked when you advance a little further in the event of the main story.
