Go with Otto or Gav to gather the materials needed to create the Mythril armor.

Head To The Desert Near The Dalimir inn

The materials for Mythril's armor can be collected in the South Velkroy Desert near Dalimil Inn. Head to the outskirts of the Dalimir Inn and collect stardust with the destination as a landmark. After collecting the stardust, give it to the NPC who accompanied you to progress in the story.

Talk With Blackthorne

Return to Clive and his group's Hideaway and talk to Blackthorne.

Talk To Mido

Talk With Helena On The Lobel Forest Road

Go to Lostwing from the World Map and head for the Lobel Forest Road. Talk to Helena, a research assistant, at the Lobel Road.

Defeat Wild Ahriman

Go to the destination after talking to Helena, the research assistant, and defeat the formidable foes "Wild Ahriman".

Return to Clive and his family's The Hideaway and talk to Mido.

Talk To Harpocrates

Talk to Harpocrates and give him the "Memorandum of the "Shield of Mythril"".

Gather The Materials For The Shield of Mythril

Go with Jill or Tarja to gather the materials needed to create the Mythril Shield.

Head To Northreach

Gather the necessary materials by relying on the destination in Northreach. After collecting the materials, give them to the NPCs who accompanied you.

Talk To Harpocrates At The Hideaway

Return to Clive and his friends' Hideaway and talk to Harpocrates.

Talk To Mido Twice

Talk to Mido, and after watching the cutscene, talk to Mido again.

Talk To Otto

Talk To Obolus, The Ferryman

Move To The Site Of The Old Hideaway

Laetny's Cleft is released when you move to the site of the old Hideaway from the World Map. The site is cleared when you move to Laetny's Cleft.
