Quests In Clive's Past

If you see the Mothercrystal Drake's Head when you reach a pivotal moment in the story, you cannot turn back. After progressing it, you will not be able to proceed with the quests in Clive's past. If you have any unfinished quests, complete them first!

Some cutscenes can be rewatched in the Replay Mode, but for others, you need to play a second time or start from the beginning to rewatch them. If you get lost in the story due to skipping them, you can check Vivian's Reports or The Thousand Tomes.

Changing Difficulty During Final Fantasy Challenge

During Final Fantasy Mode, you are unable to switch to other modes. If the difficulty becomes too challenging and you find yourself unable to win, you have the option to go back to the first playthrough in the save data and increase Clive's level or you can find a way to counter the enemy's moves by learning its attack pattern.

Difficulty (Play Mode) Settings

The difficulty level (Gameplay Mode) is selected at the start of the game, but can be changed later at any time by going to Main Menu > Options. You can switch them as needed and adjust them to your preference.

A Replay Mode is available at Arete Stone in Cid's Hideaway where you can replay stages you have already conquered. You can open missed treasure chests and rematch bosses.
